On a late summer evening in Washington, D.C., the life of 21-year-old Juwaan Henry was tragically cut short. On Thursday, August 25, 2022, in the 800 block of 7th Street, Northwest, violence erupted, leaving the young man from Silver Spring, Maryland, with multiple gunshot wounds. First responders arrived at the scene around 8:15 p.m. and quickly transported him to a local hospital. Despite their efforts, Juwaan Henry succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
