In the early afternoon of Monday, June 9, 2025, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet of a Northeast Washington, D.C. neighborhood, leaving one man dead and three others wounded. The fatal victim was identified as 31-year-old Breon Quick, a resident of Northeast, D.C. The shooting took place at approximately 12:10 p.m. in the 1200 block of Mount Olivet Road, NE.
