On April 18, 2020, Toussaunt Tarquann Strong, a 28-year-old resident of Clinton, Maryland, was fatally shot in the Shipley Terrace neighborhood of Southeast Washington, D.C. The incident occurred shortly before 7:00 pm while Strong was outside his father's home on the 3400 block of 24th Street SE.
