On a Monday morning in Washington, D.C., the life of Michael Anthony Hardie was tragically cut short. On October 29, 2007, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Hardie was discovered shot to death in the rear of the 1200 block of North Capitol Street, NW. The Metropolitan Police Department promptly launched a homicide investigation into his death.
