Josephine Dilworth, age 40, was tragically murdered on February 24, 2011, on Detroit's west side. Known by the nickname "Curly," she was killed while carrying groceries into her home on Northlawn Street, between Intervale and Schoolcraft avenues. The incident occurred at approximately 6:20 PM when two unknown individuals approached Josephine and shot her. She was targeted in a seemingly random act of violence that has left her family and community searching for answers ever since.
