In the spring of 2018, the life of 45-year-old Byron Davenport Jr. was tragically cut short. On the evening of May 19th, the Indianapolis man was shot in the 2400 block of Sheldon Street. He succumbed to his injuries from the gunfire, leaving a family and community to mourn his sudden and violent death. Davenport was a Black male.
