Lamar Washington, a 32-year-old resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, was tragically killed on June 18, 2022. The incident occurred on the city's northeast side near the intersection of East 62nd and North Rural streets. Officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) responded to a report of shots fired around 1 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Washington with gunshot wounds near an apartment building.
