In the late summer of 2018, the life of Jason Lewis, a 27-year-old Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in Richmond, Indiana. On the morning of August 2nd, his body was discovered in the parking lot of the Genesis Apartments, the victim of multiple gunshot wounds. Witnesses later recounted a harrowing scene, stating that an assailant had chased Lewis before shooting him repeatedly.
