In the early morning hours of August 24, 2021, the life of 47-year-old Antonio Duane Hegg, a Black male, was tragically cut short in his Richmond, Indiana home. The events of that morning unfolded after Hegg returned to the residence he shared with his girlfriend, Sarah McKenzie Davis, around 4 a.m. He had been out with family at a bar and was reportedly intoxicated and upset upon his return.
