In a quiet Evansville, Indiana neighborhood, the life of 65-year-old Odie Carrier Jr. came to a tragic end in November 2018. A United States Air Force veteran and owner of an electronics company, Carrier was a father and grandfather known for his friendly nature. On the night of November 8, 2018, a neighbor reported hearing a gunshot at Carrier's residence. Police arrived to find him on the floor with a single gunshot wound to his hip.
