Keyonja Barnes, a 20-year-old resident of Evansville, Indiana, tragically lost his life on June 13, 2020, due to a single gunshot wound to the head. The incident occurred in the 1700 block of Bedford Avenue, where multiple 911 calls reported gunshots in the area, with estimates ranging from three to ten rounds fired. Upon arrival, emergency responders found Barnes with a critical head injury. Despite being rushed to a local hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
