On April 17, 2022, Vito Acardo Allen, aged 43, was tragically killed in a shooting incident in Evansville, Indiana. The incident occurred at an apartment building on West Mill Road, where Allen resided. The Vanderburgh County Coroner's Office identified Allen and another victim, 50-year-old Thomas R. James from White Creeks, Tennessee, who also succumbed to injuries from the same incident.
