Jontae Billups-Brooks, an 18-year-old from Lafayette, Indiana, tragically lost his life on November 18, 2018. He was shot at a southside apartment complex in Lafayette and succumbed to his injuries shortly after being transported to Franciscan Alliance East Hospital. Jontae was a senior at The Excel Center and was known for his love of music and sports, particularly basketball and football.
