Kevonte Alfred, a 22-year-old resident of Gary, Indiana, tragically lost his life on January 1, 2019. Kevonte was fatally shot in the 700 block of Kentucky Street in Gary. The incident occurred on New Year's Eve, and he was found inside a residence with a single gunshot wound. Despite being transported to Methodist Hospitals Northlake, Kevonte was pronounced dead shortly after midnight on New Year's Day.
