On a grim evening in Indianapolis, the life of 19-year-old Rami Marsh was cut short. The male teenager was fatally shot on Monday, March 11, 2019, in an incident that unfolded in the 3600 block of North Illinois Street just after 7:30 p.m. When officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department arrived at the scene, they discovered two individuals who had sustained gunshot wounds.
Emergency medical services responded swiftly but pronounced Rami Marsh dead at the location of the shooting.
The second individual found at the scene, who had also been shot, was identified as 17-year-old Javion Davis. Davis was transported to a local hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. The investigation revealed that Javion Davis was allegedly involved in the shooting that resulted in Marsh's death.
