John Lee Roach, a 21-year-old white male from Indianapolis, Indiana, was tragically murdered on December 22, 1982. His body was discovered six days later, on December 28, 1982, near Belleville in Putnam County, Indiana, alongside Interstate 70. Roach had been stabbed to death in a frenzied attack, and his body was dumped along the highway.
