A simple act of kindness cost Ryan Thomas his life on a Tuesday in Indianapolis. The 31-year-old male had stopped to help a stranger, Andre George, who was dealing with a disabled vehicle at a Marathon gas station on the city's northwest side on March 30, 2021. What began as a gesture of goodwill tragically escalated into a fatal encounter, forever altering the lives of two families.
