Dennis Ward, a 27-year-old resident of Merrillville, Indiana, tragically passed away on April 17, 2019. His death was ruled a homicide by the Lake County coroner's office. On the morning of his death, police were called to the 7500 block of Hendricks Street following reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers found Dennis Ward attempting to exit a window of the residence after being shot.
