John Meeks, aged 66, passed away unexpectedly on February 20, 2016, in Merrillville, Indiana. He was a beloved husband, father, and a veteran of the U.S. Army. John worked at NIPSCO as a Coal Handler at Bailey Generating Station and was a proud member of Union USW 12775. His sudden death shocked the community and left his family and friends in mourning.
