Anthony Gibbs, a 36-year-old resident of Highland, Indiana, was tragically shot and killed on October 2, 2021, at the Economy Inn in Merrillville, Indiana. According to court documents, police were called to the scene around 6 p.m. and found Gibbs unresponsive on the sidewalk outside the motel, having been shot in the face and leg.
