Jalen Stanley Sherwood, a 20-year-old from Merrillville, Indiana, tragically lost his life on April 17, 2019. Sherwood, affectionately known as "Jizzle Da Don," was a graduate of Merrillville High School, class of 2017, and was known for his involvement in basketball. On the day of his death, Sherwood was fatally shot in the 6000 block of Harrison Street in Merrillville.
