Aahric Whitehead, a 20-year-old from Merrillville, Indiana, tragically lost his life on June 1, 2022. Whitehead, a charismatic and talented athlete, was shot and killed in a parking lot in the 7200 block of Taft Street. The incident occurred around 7 p.m. when police responded to a call of shots fired.
