Ryan Halbe, a 27-year-old resident of Merrillville, Indiana, tragically lost his life on December 26, 2017. The incident occurred during a violent altercation at the Halbe family home on West 61st Avenue. Ryan, along with his mother, Candy Marie Halbe, was shot during what authorities described as a "family dispute." The Lake County Coroner's office ruled both deaths as homicides.
