In the early morning hours of June 8, 2019, the life of 41-year-old Demetrice Taylor, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in Michigan City, Indiana. Around 1:58 a.m., the sound of gunshots pierced the quiet of the Eastport Neighborhood, prompting a response from the Michigan City Police Department.
