Demetrius Howell, a 27-year-old resident of Michigan City, Indiana, tragically lost his life on January 23, 2021. Howell was fatally shot in the forehead while he was outside a home on Edwards Street. The incident occurred in the presence of a woman, Jessica Jones, who was waiting in a parked car nearby. Jones was also shot and injured during the attack, managing to drive to a nearby gas station for help. The police responded to the scene and found Howell deceased and Jones wounded.
