In the summer of 2019, the life of 19-year-old Jordan Anthony Mitchell was tragically cut short. On Saturday, June 22, 2019, in Gary, Indiana, Jordan was the victim of a fatal shooting. Another individual was also injured in the incident. At the time of his death, Jordan was a promising young man with a bright future. He was a graduate of Thea Bowman Leadership Academy and was pursuing a degree in civil engineering at Indiana State University.
