Mutee Pedro Burnett, a 36-year-old resident of Kokomo, Indiana, tragically lost his life on August 11, 2019. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 4:21 a.m., when officers from the Kokomo Police Department were dispatched to the 100 block of West Elm Street in response to reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Burnett lying in the roadway with an apparent gunshot wound. Despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
