On October 23, 2016, 17-year-old LaMarcus McGraw was tragically shot and killed in Kokomo, Indiana. The incident occurred during a drug deal that went wrong, taking place in an alley behind the Village Pantry. This event shocked the local community and led to significant efforts to improve neighborhood safety.
