On a warm Saturday evening, the lively atmosphere of an annual motorcycle event in Kokomo, Indiana, was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of 17-year-old Aveon Rocquez Rice. It was just after 10 p.m. on June 14, 2025, in the crowded Studebaker Park, when gunfire erupted, sending attendees scrambling for safety.
