Enrique Alcorta, an 18-year-old from Marion, Indiana, tragically lost his life on September 6, 2019. The incident occurred late at night when police were called to the 300 block of West 30th Street following reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers found Alcorta lying in a parking lot with a gunshot wound to his chest. Despite immediate resuscitation efforts by the officers and subsequent medical intervention, Alcorta was pronounced dead at Marion General Hospital.
