In the early morning hours of August 12, 2016, the life of 27-year-old Delray Tyron Swift, a Black/African American male from Marion, Indiana, was tragically cut short. Swift was discovered outside the VIP Show Club, located in the 900 block of South Western Avenue, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
