In a tragic turn of events that unfolded in Marion, Indiana, a 56-year-old White male, Larry D. Jones Jr., lost his life in what was determined to be a violent homicide. On Monday, June 19, 2023, Jones was found deceased in the 2700 block of Avon Avenue. An investigation into his death revealed that he had been stabbed multiple times and had also suffered from blunt force trauma.
