On the evening of April 21, 2025, 17-year-old Julio "Lio" Dayne Matamoros was fatally shot in Marion, Indiana, during an alleged transaction involving marijuana vape cartridges. The incident occurred around 6:50 p.m. outside Noble Wine & Spirits on South Western Avenue. According to court documents, Matamoros was meeting with 18-year-old Cordel Bice for the sale when a dispute escalated.
