In the early hours of August 13, 2022, in Marion, Indiana, a report of gunshots shattered the morning's quiet. Police responded to the 2600 block of South Washington Street, where they were told vehicles were seen speeding away from the area after the sound of gunfire. The initial search of the immediate vicinity revealed no victim.
