Walter Abdul Steven Carpenter, 40, of Marion, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023. Born on July 20, 1982, in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of Walter and Mary (Owens) Brown. On February 3, 2017, he married Summayya Tammy Black, who survives him.
