In the late summer of 2023, the life of 35-year-old Contrell Jackson, a Black/African American male from Marion, Indiana, was tragically cut short. On the evening of August 22nd, Jackson was discovered lying in the roadway in the 1500 block of South Miller Avenue. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
