Willie Jysaiha Oxendine, an 18-year-old resident of Marion, Indiana, died on December 15, 2023, due to a gunshot wound. The incident occurred on the evening of December 14, 2023, when Oxendine was shot in the abdomen at an apartment complex in the 3100 block of S. Washington Street in Marion.

According to the Marion Police Department, Oxendine was with three other men in the apartment at the time of the shooting. One of these men was holding a handgun that discharged, striking Oxendine. ...Read More
