Summary based on 3 sources
On a summer evening, the life of 15-year-old Sir Blu Cornelius Bryant, a male from Washington, D.C., was tragically cut short. On June 25, 2022, at approximately 9:20 PM, he was shot and killed in the 1700 block of 8th Street, NW. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered Bryant and an adult male both suffering from gunshot wounds. Bryant was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries the following day.

At the time of the shooting, his mother was returning from a church convention in Virginia when she received the devastating news from her daughter. While authorities initially considered the possibility that the teenager was a random victim of violence, further investigation led them to believe he may have been the intended target.

As of now, the case remains unsolved. The Metropolitan Police Department has not identified any suspects and no arrests have been made in connection with the homicide. A reward of up to $25,000 has been offered for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for Sir Blu Cornelius Bryant's death. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities continue to appeal to the public for assistance.
