In Washington, D.C., the life of a 24-year-old man, Tyron Anthony Johnson, was cut short on the night of July 3, 2018. That evening, at approximately 10:02 PM, the sound of gunfire echoed in the 4400 block of E Street, SE. When officers from the Metropolitan Police Department arrived at the scene, they discovered Johnson unresponsive, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
