On the morning of November 30, 2025, a tragic incident occurred at Marion General Hospital in Marion, Indiana, involving a member of the facility's own law enforcement team. Around 6:00 a.m., first responders from the Marion City Police Department, the Grant County Sheriff's Office, and the Indiana State Police were dispatched to the hospital following reports of a shooting.
