On the morning of September 21, 2025, white male Isaiah Thomas Hawkins, 25, of Rickman, Tennessee, was found shot to death outside a home alongside his mother, Christina Denise Hawkins, 43. Deputies and agents responded to the 100 block of Freeman Drive, where both victims were discovered, and state investigators were requested to take the lead in the double-homicide inquiry.
