In the winter of 2020, a young man's life was abruptly and violently cut short in Memphis, Tennessee. Korey DeJuan Dupree, a 27-year-old male, was discovered inside his apartment in the Cordova neighborhood on February 13th. Responding to a call, officers from the Appling Farms precinct arrived at the residence on South Birkshire Cove, off Raleigh-LaGrange Road, to find a grim scene. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the location from a gunshot wound.
