Cortez D. Jones, a 38-year-old male from Memphis, Tennessee, tragically passed away on January 13, 2019. According to reports, he was murdered in his Hickory Hill home when it was sprayed with nearly 100 rounds of bullets. Despite his injuries, Cortez tried to ensure the safety of everyone else in the house, including his sister, mother, 2-year-old nephew, and 15-year-old niece, who was injured during the attack.
