In the summer of 2022, a promising life was tragically cut short in Memphis, Tennessee. Timothy J. Pinkins, a 28-year-old Black man, was visiting a female friend at the Manor Park East Apartments in the southern part of the city. What should have been a peaceful visit turned into a scene of brutal violence in the early morning hours of July 24th.
