In the early hours of July 31, 2024, the flashing lights of emergency vehicles illuminated a grim scene on Interstate 55 near East Brooks Road in Memphis, Tennessee. Responding to a call about a shooting at approximately 12:30 a.m., Memphis Police Department officers arrived to find a vehicle riddled with bullet holes. Inside, they discovered the body of 20-year-old Yousef Ziyadeh, a male resident of Memphis. He had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.
