Joshua Butts, a 28-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on April 14, 2021, in Philadelphia, PA. He was fatally shot on the 800 block of South 53rd Street while with his 6-year-old son and a friend. The incident occurred around 7:15 p.m. when they were on their way to a schoolyard to play basketball.
