On March 4, 2024, at approximately 3:45 p.m., a tragic shooting occurred at a SEPTA bus stop near the intersection of Ogontz and Godfrey Avenues in Philadelphia's Ogontz neighborhood. Two unidentified gunmen fired over 50 rounds into a crowd of approximately 15 to 20 individuals, many of whom were students. The assailants used at least one automatic weapon during the attack.
