Upon arrival, they discovered 19-year-old Kydair Strickland lying unresponsive in the street, suffering from a gunshot wound to his left shoulder. Medical personnel transported him to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10:23 p.m.
The crime scene yielded limited physical evidence. No weapon was recovered; however, investigators did find a .45 caliber fired cartridge casing at the scene.
