Devonta Newsom, an 18-year-old from Memphis, Tennessee, was tragically killed on July 25, 2017, as a result of gun violence. Known for his fun and loving personality, Devonta enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews, as well as watching wrestling and playing basketball. He attended Kirby High School, Kirby Middle School, and GRAD Academy Memphis High.
