Jarmelle "JoJo" Jones, a 26-year-old University of Memphis student and beloved member of his community, was tragically killed on November 28, 2014, during a home invasion at his mother's residence in Cordova, Tennessee. Jones and his girlfriend were ambushed by two masked men upon their return home after a night out. The intruders, Thaddeus Money and Raphael Farmer, intended to rob Jones and his girlfriend, believing they had recently returned from a lavish vacation based on social media posts.
